WHO I AM....

Born and raised in Sweden, I moved to the UK in 2013 to study at the British and Irish Institute of Modern music. I graduated with a first-class honours degree in 2016 and have since then been awarded with scholarships and prizes for my work as a singer and performer. My passion for music has driven me to gain as much knowledge about the voice as possible, from its anatomical construct to how it should operate within an ensemble.  During my professional career in Sweden and the UK I have written and performed in a variety of bands, the likes of which include Soul, Jazz and psychedelic rock, often sourcing inspiration from the likes of Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse and Ella Fitzgerald. I actively work as a session singer and top-line writer for various Ad campaigns, such as; Universal, SKY and Channel 4

HOW I CAN HELP...

I aim to provide my clients with a large variety of support, ranging from Vocal Coaching to time management and songwriting. I have gained great musical knowledge through my many years of studying music and vocal courses. Much of my research on the voice derives from the teachings of Jo Estill and Georgia Train, encouraging my students to learn a range of practical exercises that aid the understanding of their voices anatomy. Alongside this, I also mentor on the importance of performer confidence and mental-health wellbeing, as I believe music is a way of learning how to let go, I will help you find the courage to be creative with no restrictions or self-doubt. I’m the sort of teacher you would get on with if you like alternative learning styles. I therefore use vulnerability as a tool to help singers to reach their full potential. We will incorporate self-awareness exercises to help release any blocks around self-doubt. My goal is to help those in a similar situation to me, as I used to struggled with confidence and stage fright.

I don’t follow conventional ways of teaching as I don’t believe it cater to all individuals. Learning should be enjoyable and a way to let go from normal busyness in life. We should create the rules together and I want to know what makes you tick! In my sessions I want to create a space separate from institutional learning that still supports you to reach the same goals. Whether you are interested in exploring your voice for the first time, learning how to write a song, prepare for exams or just having fun, I would love to hear from you.

PLEASE NOTE: I only do home-visits, or virtual lessons via Zoom this means I'll come to your home for our private lessons.
